La Marina
La Marina is a small town with 1,200 inhabitants blonging to the EIche Municipality. It lies at about 20 km north of Torrevieja and 18 km south of Alicante International Airport.
La Marina's fine sand beaches, sand dunes and clean water are over 3km long, being the closest beach, only 2.5km away from the main village high street.
The production of ceramics is the most traditional craft in La Marina area. There are many shops selling all shapes and sizes of plates, vases and bowls with classic Mediterranean decoration. There are also all sorts of shops for your daily requirements, as well as a taxi rank, banks, tennis courts, swimming pools, a bowling green, and a car hire company, amongst others.
This area has attracted many different nationalities that have chosen their property either for permanent living, or just for a perfect holiday.
